Kylie Jenner welcomed her son Wolf Webster last month, her second child with boyfriend Travis Scott, and just opened up on Instagram about the “not easy” weeks following the birth of her baby. The reality star, 24, described her postpartum experience to be “very hard mentally, physically and spiritually,” which many of her followers that are fellow mothers could surely relate to.
The Kardashians star filmed herself working out on her March 15th Instagram story and stopped to record a message for all the “postpartum moms” who also felt that the period after giving birth was difficult. “I just want to say that my postpartum has not been easy,” she said. “This experience for me, personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter.”

Jenner, who is also mother to daughter Stormi Webster, 4, continued. “I didn’t want to just get back to life without saying that because I think we can look on the internet and you know, for other mom’s going through it right now, it might look a lot easier for other people and like put the pressure on us. But it hasn’t been easy on me either. It’s been hard and I just wanted to say that.” The Kylie Cosmetics founder also touched upon how she learned to not be so hard on herself and praise her incredible feat— giving birth and what having children means to her. “It’s okay not to be okay,” Jenner said.

“Once I realized that…I was putting some pressure on myself and I just keep reminding myself ‘I made a whole human, a beautiful healthy boy’ and we have to stop putting pressure to be back, not even psychically, just mentally after birth.” Jenner continues to share sweet images of her family to Instagram as well as throwback pregnancy pictures to honor her motherhood journey. Love!
