Kylie Jenner is one of the many A-listers who has been accused of using weight loss injections such as Ozempic and Wegovy to get back to her pre-baby shape. And she has kept a dignified silence about the allegations… until now!
The Kylie Cosmetics mogul opened up about the “annoying” weight loss drugs allegations in a candid interview with British Vogue, for which she is on the cover. Kylie Jenner Responds To Ozempic Allegations In 'British Vogue' September Issue
The mom-of-two, who turned 27 earlier this month, told the fashion bible that she is now the same weight she was before having her daughter Stormi, 6, while claiming that she hasn't received enough "empathy" since welcoming Stormi and son Aire, 2.
"I feel like people didn't give me, or give women in general, enough empathy. I see pictures (on the Internet) and people are accusing me of being on drugs or something," the Kardashians star said, after which the interviewer asked: "You mean they mistakenly think you were taking Ozempic, or some such?"
"Yeah," Kylie responded, with British Vogue writing that she was "annoyed" by the constant weight loss drugs allegations, as well as the constant media scrutiny about her weight.
"I'm back at my weight I was before I had my daughter and son and people are putting side by sides of me three months postpartum," Jenner continued, adding: "I'm like: 'Does everyone forget that I had two children and I gained 60lbs both pregnancies?'"
"I was 200 pounds when I gave birth to my 9-pound babies: 8.3 and 8.9," she continued, before going on to confirm that she lost the weight she gained when she was pregnant with Stormi but then became pregnant with her son.
"I finally lost all the baby weight after my daughter and then got pregnant with my son two months later. And I felt in shape and it was working out, and then I got pregnant and did it all over again," the Khy founder added.
Kylie Jenner Opens Up About Her Postpartum Depression
Jenner told the magazine that she's "finally feeling like myself again" after suffering with postpartum depression for a year following the birth of her son. She also suffered with PPD after daughter Stormi was born too, according to her interview.
"Being pregnant, I wore sweatpants every day, I didn’t have time to figure out even some of the little things in my life, and then postpartum lasted a year," Jenner confessed, adding: "Mentally, it’s really hard. Hormonally, it’s really hard. I didn’t know how to dress."
She added: "It hit me differently both times. Probably with my son it was major baby blues, so I was just so emotional over things that I probably wouldn’t be that emotional about [typically]."
Despite the downsides, Jenner seems to love being a mom of two! Also in the magazine's September issue, she discussed how her two children – both of whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott – have helped her self-confidence, as she feels she doesn't need "validation from other sources."
"I come home and my kids just love me unconditionally. They're just obsessed with me and that's taught me to walk through life a little easier," Jenner, who is now reportedly dating Timothée Chalamet, gushed about her daughter and son.
