In a viral and candid moment on her family’s Hulu reality show, Kylie Jenner revealed the emotional toll of her life in the spotlight that she said is marred with criticism and hate. The Kylie Cosmetics mogul, 26, confessed that the online vitriol and public disdain affects her deeply, and her vulnerability was palpable in the new preview for the upcoming June 20th episode of The Kardashians.

Alongside her older sister Kendall, Kylie tearfully recounted the years of backlash she has received for her appearance, revealing the highs and lows of her life in the public eye. However, soon after the clip emerged, the Khy founder faced harsh criticism on X (previously known as Twitter) from numerous users who scrutinized her alleged “cosmetic procedures,” including those she has openly acknowledged and those she was accused of undergoing.

Kylie Jenner Opens Up About 'Nasty' Backlash She Has Faced Over The Years As The Internet Accuses Her Of Undergoing 'Cosmetic Surgeries'

After the premiere of last week's Kardashians episode, a preview of the next one was shared on June 13th. In the clip, Kylie could be seen sitting on a couch beside her supermodel sister Kendall, 28. "People have been talking about my looks since I was 13. It just gets exhausting," Kylie said with tears in her eyes.

Kendall also teared up while listening to her sister. In another confessional scene, the mom of two (who shares daughter Stormi, 6, and son Aire, 2, with ex Travis Scott) said: "I hear nasty things about myself all the time." As the scene shifted back to the sisters on the couch, Kylie disclosed: "Like, I’ve never cried about this before, but I guess it does affect me."

During the third season of the show, Kylie confronted the "public chatter" that frequently envelops her. However, she firmly stated at the time that she refused to let it affect her, at least not up to that point in her life.

Moreover, she vehemently refuted the allegations that she underwent plastic surgery to rectify any personal insecurities, deeming such claims to be completely unfounded.

“I always remember being the most confident kid in the room,” she said then. “I always loved myself — I still love myself — and one of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was this insecure child and I got so much surgery to change my whole face, which is false, I’ve only gotten fillers.”

Kylie has been no stranger to rumors about receiving Botox injections, lip fillers, cheek fillers and those that suggest she underwent other cosmetic procedures. Soon after this preview went viral, viewers headed to X to share their thoughts.

"Stop doing surgeries!" one tweeted regarding Kylie as another added: "You put yourself out there ..it can't all be good criticism your making $ off of your fame stop complaining." Someone else noted in another thread: "zero sympathy."

The reality star admitted to pursuing lip fillers and undergoing breast augmentation surgery as a teenager but stressed in a November 2023 WSJ interview that she "never touched my face" regarding other rumored procedures like cheek fillers.

Apart from lip fillers, Kylie said: "I’ve never touched my face, but just even getting my breasts done when I was 19 and getting pregnant soon after, not obviously planning to be pregnant at 19. And I was never insecure about myself."

She went on: "I actually was always super confident and loved my body. I was just having fun. I was influenced by amazing boobs and was like, that’s what I wanted to do, and had fun with it." Jenner then admitted: "I probably just should have waited until I maybe had kids or let my body just develop." She then stressed that she has found motherhood to be about "teaching our kids to do better than us, be better versions of who we were."
