So, how exactly did this alleged makeup line come to our attention? Well, Harper’s Bazaar did a little digging and found out that Gaga’s company, Ate My Heart Inc, filed to trademark the name Haus Beauty back in February. While this may seem like forever ago, it’s been kept under wraps until recently.
But wait, there’s more! The trademark covers a whole array of products. It seems like Gaga’s trying to branch out from the same-old concealers and foundations because some of the trademarked items include everything from cosmetics to perfumes, colognes, and even skincare products. Since she contemplated creating a bizarre perfume back in 2010, we can expect this line to be just as provocative (and frankly just perfectly weird) as Mama Monster is herself.

She only fed our speculations even more with her vague social media posts, especially on Instagram. Several of her captions include what only seem to us as Easter eggs on the project, with hashtags like #haus, #hausofgaga, and #hauseditorials. And is it just a coincidence that her makeup is 100 percent on fleek in these photos? We think not.
If you think we’re reaching, kindly take a seat, because there's more groundbreaking information about Lady Gaga's new beauty line.
Not only has she been looking rather high editorial-esque in her recent Instagram posts, she also hinted in the vaguest way possible that she’s working on some new things that have nothing to do with music.
“Have a beautiful happy day. I’ll be making music n’ stuff,” the artist wrote in an Instagram caption. While this may just seem like a nice gesture of love towards her fans, that “stuff” she’s hinting at could be an extra clue to this beauty puzzle.

If that’s not enough to fuel your inner Little Monster, we should all note that Gaga is no novice to the beauty world. Back in 2012, she introduced herself to the industry with her top-selling perfume, Fame. She’s also previously partnered with the iconic beauty brand, MAC Cosmetics, for their Viva Glam lipstick campaigns, which has also featured a slew of our favorite celebrities and makeup inspirations--like Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and RuPaul.
She’s also keeping close ties with some major people in the beauty world. For all of her latest events and performances, Gaga’s tapped makeup artist Sarah Tanno, who is also the Global Artistry Ambassador for Marc Jacobs Beauty.

One more hint: Gaga usually tags her MUAs and brands used in her Instagram photos, but hasn’t with quite a few glammed-up selfies. Take this gorgeous pic, for example. In one of her most recent Instagram posts, she’s calling her inner Miranda Priestly and serving us some poppin’ pink lips, but her caption’s only hint at makeup is the lipstick and kiss emojis.
We only have one plausible reason for her posting this: to show off this baby-pink lipstick color, which we can’t help but assume is part of her up and coming beauty line.
While all signs are pointing to Haus Beauty becoming a reality, there has been no official comment or launch date from Ate My Heart Inc. or Lady Gaga herself.
We're holding out hope. Remember that quite a few of these celebrity makeup brands started as “just rumors.” Take Fenty Beauty, for example. People had investigated the possibility of Rihanna’s makeup line for years before it actually launched, and look at how that turned out. The same goes for Kylie Cosmetics, and her sister’s brand, KKW Beauty. So, keep your head up, and we’ll update you when we’re going Gaga with some more information!
