The Haus Labs mogul graced Instagram a few days earlier with a captivating video where she performed a charming melody on the piano, all the while flaunting her newly dyed, jet-black hair. Gaga let her hair fall freely, parted down the middle. She also wore a Bruno Mars graphic t-shirt (sparking fan speculation about a possible collaboration with the “Uptown Funk” singer, 38).
Fans (who were later proven right about the collab) flocked to the comments section of Gaga’s August 13th post to compliment her updated hairstyle, with many praising it as chic and “stunning,” perfectly timed for the approaching autumn season.

Gaga further demonstrated her versatility two days later by debuting a coppery ginger hue, styled in Hollywood-inspired curls reminiscent of the 70s country era, in the music video for “Die With A Smile.” This string-laden ballad, a nostalgic nod to pop hits of the time, marks her latest musical collaboration with Mars, 38. In the new visual for the track, Gaga and Mars donned matching vintage Western ensembles in blue and red, with the “Born This Way” hitmaker seated at the piano and the “Treasure” singer strumming the guitar.
Shortly after the Joker: Folie à Deux star posted a fresh promotional image featuring herself and the “24K Magic” musician, her 56.7 million followers flocked to the comments section to express their excitement. Many praised her latest music and style. “I’m here for THIS!” one wrote as another added: “This look! This vibe! Cannot wait!!!” Gaga’s famous friends also weighed in, with Gigi Hadid commenting: “The glam is killliinnggggg me.” Ilana Glazer also wrote: “Gaga this is gorgeoussss.”

To complete her look for the new music video, the “Bad Romance” crooner rocked retro bold black winged liner, sky-high lashes, 60s-esque eyeshadow, ample rosy blush and an overlined pink pout. Her get-up was composed of a long-sleeved blue minidress with floral embroidery. Her sleeves featured red, ruffled fabric at the ends that matched her necktie. This matched Mars’ outfit that included a a blue suit set and a red collared button-down top beneath. He also sported a white cowboy hat.
“Die With A Smile” is significant as it represents the first instance in over two years that either artist has unveiled new music. In a new press release, Gaga said of her collaboration with Mars: “Bruno and I have a lot of mutual respect for each other and were talking about collaborating. I was finishing up my own album in Malibu, and one night after a long day he asked me to come to his studio to hear something he was working on.”
The House of Gucci alum went on: “It was around midnight when I got there, and I was blown away when I heard what he had started making. We stayed up all night and finished writing and recording the song. Bruno’s talent is beyond explanation.”
As for the “Grenade” artist, he also had nothing but praise for Gaga, saying: “Getting to work with Gaga has been an honor. She’s an icon and she makes this song magical. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it.”
