Lady Gaga wowed fans with her elegant style at the 81st Venice Film Festival photocall for Joker: Folie à Deux, hosted at Palazzo del Casino. The Grammy winner, 38, donned a sophisticated, bespoke Dior velvet gown with a flattering fit-and-flare design, long sleeves, and a square neckline. Her look was accentuated by stunning Tiffany earrings made of platinum and encrusted with diamonds.

The “Stupid Love” singer stepped out in leather platform pumps by Christian Louboutin, complementing her monochrome ensemble with sleek Celine sunglasses and a coordinated netted beret. As for her glam, Gaga’s platinum blonde hair cascaded down in a sleek, straight style, with the top portion smoothly slicked back beneath her hat.

For her makeup look, the Haus Labs mogul opted for black winged liner, voluminous lashes, rosy eyeshadow, radiant blush on her high cheekbones, and a glossy dark pink lip. During the event, Gaga struck poses for solo photographs and also paused to snap pictures with her co-star Joaquin Phoenix and the film’s director, Todd Phillips.

In the second chapter of the Joker saga and its debut as a musical, the A Star Is Born actress takes on the role of the legendary antihero Harley Quinn, the alter ego of therapist Harleen "Lee" Quinzel, who becomes infatuated with the Joker.

This musical psychological thriller is helmed by Phillips, 53, with a screenplay he co-wrote alongside Scott Silver. Joker: Folie à Deux had its grand unveiling at the film festival on September 4th, where it will also vie for the prestigious Golden Lion.

The movie is set to release in international theaters on October 2nd, followed by a US release on October 4th, courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures. In a recent interview with Empire, the "Bad Romance" hitmaker discussed her preparation for the role.

“I’m a trained singer, right? So even my breathing was different when I sang as Lee,” Gaga dished to the publication. “When I breathe to sing onstage, I have this very controlled way to make sure that I’m on pitch and it’s sustained at the right rhythm and amount of time, but Lee would never know how to do any of that. So it’s like removing the technicality of the whole thing, removing my perceived art-form from it all and completely being inside of who she is.”

Any lingering doubts about Gaga's engagement were also put to rest at the Venice International Film Festival, where she flaunted her stunning diamond ring. On September 3rd, the "Paparazzi" artist captivated the cameras with the enormous gem, giving fans their first clear view of the stone since her inadvertent engagement reveal to Michael Polansky at the Paris Olympics earlier this summer. The ring boasts a substantial oval diamond elegantly set on a pavé diamond band.

Gaga and entrepreneur Polansky, 46, have been linked since 2020. In a TikTok post dated July 28th, French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal unveiled a short video featuring Gaga introducing herself and her partner at the Paris Summer Olympics. As she turned to her companion, the songstress disclosed, "This is my fiancé."

The "Telephone" crooner and tech entrepreneur initially sparked relationship speculation four years ago after being seen sharing a kiss at a New Year's Eve celebration in Las Vegas. Their romance was confirmed on Instagram in February 2021 when they appeared together at the Super Bowl.
