There is nothing quite like exfoliating. That feeling of wiping an acid-soaked peel pad across your face and the smooth skin that results is the *best*. And Lancer just released a new gentle acid peel pad that takes the cake in making your face feel brand new.

Lancer Peel Pads

The peel pads, which contain a mild alpha-hydroxy acid, are for every-other-day use and work wonders to resurface and brighten skin instantly. I swear by them! (And I am not stranger to glycolic wipes.)

Not only do these peel pads smooth, brighten and even skin tone instantly, they’ve also been proved to provide anti-aging benefits in the long term.

Key Ingredients

The pads contain the wrinkle-hyperpigmentation-and-dullness fighting ingredient 7% lactic acid. Additionally, it has the plant-derived natural retinol alternative Bakuchiol, which also helps in the fight against fine lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone. Papaya fruit extract is great for cell turnover and removes dead skin buildup and oatmeal gives the skin's moisture barrier a boost, and calms and soothes skin to boot. Aka, the resulting skin is cool, calm--and ten years younger-looking.

Honest Review

I started using the peel pads in the morning after my cleanser and before applying serum and moisturizer. This began with once per week and worked its way up (although I could have started at 3-4 times per week like the label denotes, I was just used to stronger glycolic peel pads that can be irritating at first). I didn't feel much by way of tingling sensation when I applied them--but after a few minutes I immediately felt the benefits of the retexturized skin. I suffer from rosacea (red spots) and dark spots, and I felt that these pads gave my skin a nice even tone. Plus, it didn't hurt that they made it glow!
