Just in time for summer snacking, a fan-favorite tortilla chip has made its way back to Costco shelves—and customers are overjoyed. That’s right: Late July Jalapeño Lime Tortilla Chips are back once again, and die-hard Costco fans couldn’t be happier.
Costco Brings Back Late July Jalapeño Lime Tortilla Chips
A Redditor posted on April 10th that the Late July Jalapeño Lime Tortilla Chips had finally returned to their local Costco, sharing a photo of a fully-stocked shelf of the beloved brand’s “amazingly delicious” chips.
“I wish I could buy the whole half pallet they even had,” wrote the poster, referring to the fact that this variety from Late July had been missing from Costco for quite awhile.

In January 2022, another Redditor posted that the flavor-packed Jalapeño Lime variety had been missing from their Costco for months. Responders agreed with the original poster's frustration: "They seem to go away for several months and then come back. We always buy around 5 bags of the multigrain when they have them and that gets us through until we see them again," wrote one strategic shopper. Another mused, "I thought those were pretty dang good... and no, I haven't seen them recently."
Now that Jalapeño Lime appears to be back officially at Costco, longtime fans are celebrating. "Omg yesssssss," "These are my favorite chips," and "yay!" were some of the thrilled responses. Other replies noted the timing: "Those are my all time FAV chips ever and they only roll around here in the summer," said one Redditor.
The best tortilla chips that @Doritos (or anyone else) makes are a squintingly distant second to @latejulyorganic Jalapeno Lime Tortilla Chips. These are best I've ever had. I'm so glad they are carried by #Costco. pic.twitter.com/TqtMgPVwAk

Late July Chip Price Increase At Costco Stuns Shoppers
Some on social media, though thrilled to see the Late July chips' return, balked at the newly-raised price, which is now around $8 versus the last time they were on shelves, allegedly somewhere from $5-$7, depending on location. "Checked an old receipt from December, they were 6.99 before. Ima still buy 10 bags," said one fan; "horrid price lmao" added another.
However, die-hard fans are sure to be pleased to be able to grab their favorite snack again, especially for the season of backyard barbecues and beachside picnics.
