Maya James— host of Love Island U.K. and Leonardo DiCaprio‘s rumored new flame— wants to make it clear that she is not dating the Oscar-winning actor. James, 28, took to Instagram last week to tell her 2.7 million followers that any gossip that suggested she was romantically linked to the Titanic alum, 48, was completely false.
The television personality recently donned a ‘Leo’ necklace on her IG Story that fans thought might have had to do with DiCaprio, but James explained that she wore it for an unrelated reason.
I’ve been minding my business on holiday & said I wouldn’t respond/pay attention to any of the silly stories anymore but you need to stop now, that is literally my star sign. We are not dating. Move on please https://t.co/p5vTTpSiWz

Love Island U.K.‘s Maya James Stresses She Is Not Dating Leonardo DiCaprio
The presenter stressed that her gold necklace had to do with her astrological sun sign, and was not hinting at a new boyfriend. “I’ve been minding my business on holiday & said I wouldn’t respond/pay attention to any of the silly stories anymore but you need to stop now, that is literally my star sign,” Jama wrote in an April 10th tweet. “We are not dating,” she added. “Move on please.”
DiCaprio split from his longtime girlfriend Camila Morrone in August 2022, after five years together. The Wolf of Wall Street star and Daisy Jones & The Six actress broke up shortly after she turned 25 (inspiring plenty of memes). One month later, DiCaprio was seen mingling and looking cozy with Gigi Hadid, and rumors of them dating have continued to surface and resurface ever since.

Leonardo DiCaprio And Gigi Hadid Are Reportedly Dating, Once Again
Neither the Revenant actor or supermodel, 27, have officially confirmed or denied the rumors. After allegedly calling it quits in February 2023, the duo have been spotted hanging out "multiple times since their split, including at an Oscars afterparty last month," according to Us Weekly.
Later that month, another source reportedly dished to the publication that DiCaprio and Hadid were still "into each other" even though they both wanted different things when it came to their romantic and personal lives. While Hadid "wants substance," she’s apparently "torn because she has a lot of fun with Leo," the insider explained. "And while everyone hopes Leo will eventually settle down, everyone knows his past."
In January, another source said to Us that their fling was "never that serious," partly due to their busy schedules. "They both have incredibly busy careers and lives, and although they tried to make time for each other, it really wasn’t enough to make things work," the source said. "Gigi has no hard feelings toward Leo and she thinks he’s an incredible guy. Their timing just couldn’t align, and they’ve decided to go their separate ways."
DiCaprio’s romance with the Guest in Residence founder began shortly after his split from Morrone. He has notoriously and previously been linked to younger actresses and models like Blake Lively, Gisele Bündchen, Nina Agdal, Toni Garrn and Bar Refaeli.
