Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus have both been adjusting to their new lives since announcing their split in August. Hemsworth specifically is trying to find balance in his day-to-day routine in his life without Cyrus.
Although their marriage lasted less than a year, Hemsworth has known Cyrus since 2009. Suddenly losing someone from your life after a decade is not easy, especially when you’re a star with a busy schedule.
Hemsworth recently opened up in an interview with Men’s Health and revealed how he is keeping consistency in his life amidst major personal changes.
“This last six months, honestly, for keeping my head level and just staying balanced, I’d say exercise has been big for me,” Hemsworth said.
Hemsworth shared his super intense workout routine with Men’s Health and truly showed that physical fitness of his level takes some serious commitment and hard work.
“We do 60-minute workouts or more sometimes,” Hemsworth said. “It’s just high intensity. A mixture of calisthenics, sled pulls, sled push and lots of free-weight stuff. But we don’t stop for the 60 minutes. You’re sweating and breathing hard, but also moving a lot of weight as well.”
When Hemsworth isn’t following his workout routine he’s busy cozying up to his girlfriend Gabriella Brooks. The 30-year-old actor has been dating the 23-year-old model since December, just a few months following his split from Cyrus.
A source told ET that it was Brooks who helped Hemsworth adapt to his new life after his marriage to Cyrus ended.
“While Liam’s family has been a huge support since the breakup with Miley, it was Gabriella who made him realize there is life after Miley,” the source said. “Gabriella is quiet, low key...She loves to be alone with Liam and isn’t seeking attention from others.”
