Lily James can do no wrong on the red carpet these days, with her glittering look for the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday, September 12th being the latest example in a long list of wow-worthy appearances.
Lily was nominated for ‘Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie’ for her portrayal of Pamela Anderson in Hulu’s Pam & Tommy, but sadly lost to Amanda Seyfried for her equally memorable role as Elizabeth Holmes in The Dropout. She may not have won the Emmy, but Lily was a red carpet winner to us!

The 33-year-old actress has come a long way since her Cinderella days, and has made jaws drop with unexpected looks such as her portrayal of the former Baywatch star and also, more recently, her dark, vampy, goth-inspired look for Versace’s Fall 2022 ad campaign. And she looked like red carpet royalty when she attended the Emmys in a gold corset dress that showcased her enviable supermodel figure!
Lily's Emmys look was styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, and consisted of a figure-hugging gold Versace dress that came complete with a racy corseted bodice, unmistakable Versace hardware on the straps, and asymmetric drape detailing. So figure-hugging was the dress that the Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again actress later revealed that she actually had to be *sewn in* to it! Wow!

Gold was a key theme in Lily's jewelry too, as she finished the look off with some stunning pieces from the De Beers Talisman collection, including diamond hoop earrings, gold bangles, and some covetable rings. Hair wise, Lily went for a glamorous voluminous down do, and her makeup – which was expertly done by Sofia Tilbury using products from Charlotte Tilbury – was as seductive, smoky, and glowing as a look of this nature deserves. She really took our breath away!
