Lindsay Lohan Goes Makeup-Free In New Photo With Dermatologist As Fans Accuse Her Of Using 'Filters': 'Promoting Unrealistic Beauty Standards'

Although countless fans have recently lauded Lindsay Lohan for her youthful and luminous complexion, some Instagram users are now accusing the Freaky Friday actress, 38, of “promoting unrealistic beauty standards.This backlash emerged after Lohan’s dermatologist and “anti-aging specialist,” Dr. Radmila Lukian, posted a new photo with the Mean Girls alum, which some users suspect was edited with a “filter.”

In the image, Lohan posed without makeup, putting her glowing, radiant complexion on full display. As one fan on IG stressed, however: “Make up free but NOT “work done free” but still beautiful!” Another added: “Filtered with phone, filtered with surgery and filtered with injections. We’ve all seen before, this after doesn’t happen naturally.”

Someone else chimed in: "Again we’re not ugly we’re just poor." One other commented: "That pic still has a filter lol." An additional user replied: "Now take off the filter and the filler, botox and let us see." One noted: "More like post surgery makeup free. Stop promoting unrealistic beauty standards."

This comes after Dr. Jonny Betteridge, an expert in aesthetics, proposed that the Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen actress might have invested as much as $300,000 on various cosmetic treatments.

Dr. Betteridge, the visionary behind JB Aesthetics in London and a professional with extensive experience in Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, and Anesthetics, elaborated on the potential enhancements in a recent video shared on Instagram.

Fans of Lohan in the comments section wrote that her “new face” was “worth every penny” and noted that Lohan seems to be in a “happier place and sober now too, which definitely shows.” In the clip, Betteridge explained why he believed the Parent Trap star recently underwent a face lift, a surgical brow lift, a rhinoplasty procedure and an upper eyelid surgery. He shared that Lohan might've gotten "some degree of surgical facelift" that was done with a "endoscopic approach."

The doctor also noted that Lohan could've gotten "botox, a lip lift, lip fillers, and veneers." He also took a closer look at the mom of one's glowing, radiant and supple skin, crediting this to "laser resurfacing" and a "dermatologist-led skincare routine." Betteridge added: "And the cost of this, if you combine everything together, would be in the range of $200-300K."

 

What Lindsay Lohan Has Shared About Her Radiant Skincare Routine

Back in October, Lohan sat down with Allure and opened up about her skincare routine. She stressed that her priority is "taking care of my skin" and noted that she previously experimented with "laser, Morpheus and IPL." Every morning, Lohan revealed that she begins her skincare routine with a chilled face cloth.

Following this refreshing step, she applies either Avène's Redness Expert Soothing Moisturizing Concentrated Cream or their Tolérance Control Soothing Skin Recovery Cream to maintain her skin's calm and hydrated appearance. She said that the latter is "lightweight and hydrating and not overly greasy."

Lohan additionally shared that she relies on Peter Thomas Roth eye patches to reduce puffiness around her eyes. She also mentioned that her preferred makeup style tends to be "pretty light" or subtle. "'If I wear anything, it’s Giorgio Armani Silk foundation or Kevyn Aucoin concealer. Maybe some eyeshadow if I’m going out, and Westman Atelier mascara," Lohan told the outlet.

She continued: "One thing I’ve embraced more since becoming a mom is going out naturally and not feeling the need to put something on my face all the time. I think we live under pressure to look made-up, but I don’t feel that way anymore."

"I just want to look at myself and love myself for who I am," Lohan explained. Every night, Lohan said she opts for "Aveeno face wipes, some Avène face wash and then the redness cream at night again because after I take everything off, I get a little pink."

The Irish Wish star also said that after the arrival of her son Luai, who is now 16 months old and her child with husband Bader Shammas, she felt a strong resolve to prioritize products made with simple, natural components.
