Lindsay Lohan Looks Completely Unrecognizable In Her New Movie—How Is This The Same Person?!

Lindsay Lohan is ready to re-enter the entertainment industry, and behind the scenes photos of the actress on her latest Netflix movie show some dramatic changes from the last time she hit silver screen. Lohan has not acted since 2019 when she starred in the film Among the Shadows, but now the 35-year-old actress will perform opposite Chord Overstreet in the untitled film which is set for release in 2022.

Rocking her traditional long auburn locks and a fresh face nearly devoid of makeup, Lohan hardly looks like the troubled star from the early 2000’s, leaving fans delighted as she prepares to enter back into the spotlight. Lohan’s last major film was Mean Girls back in 2004, and after two years away from acting in smaller films, she’s ready to reclaim her career. 

The official Netflix Instagram account teased the image of Lohan and Overstreet walking down a snowy street, captioning the image, “just lindsay lohan and chord overstreet walkin’ in a winter wonderland while shooting their untitled holiday rom-com thats coming to netflix in 2022…….. Nbd.”

Fans were thrilled to see the actress gracing Netflix’s social media with one person writing, “I did not think that was lindsey lohan. Omg she looks amazing.” Meanwhile, actress Lucy Hale added, “Good for her !! Go @lindsaylohan !” Even Lohan’s younger brother Dakota commented a string of fire emojis to congratulate his sister’s achievement. 

While no further details of the release date of the film have been announced thus far, Variety reported that the movie will also include actors Olivia Perez, George Young, and Jack Wagner. Just another reason to look forward to 2022!
