Fresh paparazzi photos acquired by Just Jared showcase Lohan, 38, adorned in a striking two-toned strapless ballgown featuring a fiery coral peplum top and a long, dramatic gray skirt underneath.
Unsurprisingly, the moment fresh behind-the-scenes footage of the highly awaited sequel was released, fans were ecstatic to catch a glimpse of Lohan in action.

The Mean Girls alum completed her ensemble with elegant black opera-length gloves. Reprising her iconic role as Anna Coleman from the 2003 hit film Freaky Friday, the mom of one (who shares a 1-year-old son with her husband Bader Shammas) added a touch of flair with dramatic black platform heels, a choker necklace, and gold sunglasses with rosy lenses.
On July 18th, Just Jared shared exclusive paparazzi pics of Lohan in the aforementioned outfit (also seen above in a TikTok clip) to Instagram. Fans headed to the comments section to share their thoughts. “Can’t wait to see this movie omg. Lindsay is freaking stunning,” one fan wrote as another added: “Omg guys Lindsay Lohan is finally back.” Someone else replied: “Best comeback ever. So happy to see her happy and acting.”

Last month, Lohan and Curtis, 65, broke the internet, with thousands of fans expressing their joy at the sight of them working together again and reprising their roles as Anna and Tess Coleman.
“We’re back!” Lohan wrote in the caption. “It’s nice to see Lindsay looking healthy and happy,” one fan wrote as another added: “CRYING IN MILLENIALS HAPPY TEARS.” Someone else concurred, noting: “freaky friday is a classic… this is cool to see!” That same day, the official account for Disney wrote on IG alongside a photo of the dynamic duo: “The Colemans are back and coming to theaters in 2025! The sequel to Freaky Friday is now in production!”

Elyse Hollander is set to pen the script, according to The New York Times, who first broke this exciting update in May 2023, just in time to commemorate the film’s 20th anniversary. Chad Michael Murray and Mark Harmon will also reprise their roles from the first film.
