Accompanying the song's release is a visually striking music video directed by Colin Tilley, which seemingly draws inspiration from Michael Jackson’s legendary “Thriller” video. In this homage, Lizzo commands attention in a stunning ensemble of black lace and leather. She led a troupe of dancers through a dimly lit alley, showcasing her resilience as they fend off a series of grotesque and unsettling figures.
Fans headed to the comments section of her YouTube video upload to share their thoughts on her transformation. "Stunning," one wrote as another added, "This video reminds me of Prince and Michael Jackson. Love the vibes, and DAMN isn't she just GORGEOUS?!?! That is a beautiful queen!"
Inside Lizzo's High-Protein Diet And Weight Loss Journey
Someone else chimed in, "I was not a Lizzo fan but this right here changed everything. And the fact she lost all that weight ? She looks and sounds so much better. Her creativity in this and the combination here works! You go Lizzo and don't stop." An additional commenter noted, "OMG we needed this and she looks so amazing."
Over the past few months, Lizzo has been sporting a slimmer figure, and recently shared insights into her dietary choices with fans. The “Tempo” artist revealed her typical meal plan on Instagram, noting her transition from being a strict vegan to incorporating “more protein” into her diet.

In an October 10, 2024 message for her fans, the “Truth Hurts” crooner mentioned that after experimenting with veganism, she adjusted her diet to incorporate animal-based proteins upon exploring a different culture’s practices. “Someone suggested I try a Japanese diet because it’s one of the healthiest diets in the world, and it has some of my favorite foods,” she shared.
Lizzo added: “After tests and research, I found that animal proteins helped me have more energy, lose weight, and helped with my mental fog.”

Though the Yitty co-creator’s current diet features animal proteins and products, she expressed her aspiration to modify this in the future. “I aspire to one day be a raw, alkaline vegan,” she noted. “Until then, this is the diet that’s helped me reach my goals and help me feel good in my body.
Recognizing that veganism is a delicate topic, with many of her fans adopting the lifestyle for diverse reasons, Lizzo emphasized her non-judgmental approach to others’ health and nutrition choices. “I’m not gonna judge you,” she said. “Do what’s best for you in your life at that moment. All that matters is that you’re happy. And if you’re happy, I’m happy.

In the video, Lizzo dons a chic all-brown outfit, including a bodysuit and matching trousers. She takes viewers through her daily meals, starting with a breakfast of lemon water, egg white cups, cauliflower hash browns, and fruit.
To hydrate herself, Lizzo sips on okra water. Her lunch features a buffalo chicken lettuce wrap with mustard and homemade peach tea.

Dinner is a serving of grilled chicken accompanied by asparagus and carrots.
Earlier last fall, Lizzo made another insightful TikTok post while reflecting on her health journey and told fans: “Changing your body does not always change your problems or solve them.”
