Lizzo Addresses Ozempic Accusations On Instagram
On Friday, September 20th, the "2 Be Loved" singer addressed the Ozempic allegations head on when she shared a carousel of images and a video with her 11.7M Instagram followers. She captioned the post: "'Ozempic or coke?' – a fan.'" She then added four crying emojis.
The four-time Grammy winner highlighted the Ozempic allegation throughout her carousel, first by captioning a video: "When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit." She then went one step further by posting a screenshot of the offending comment by a user called @dufflebag_du in another slide, which read: "Did she use Ozempic or did she snort coke?"
The "Pink" singer's reply was also visible in the screenshot, which read: "whyyyy do u follow me?" followed by four crying emojis. And that's not all, as she also shared a screenshot of the commenter's profile in the same carousel. Remind us to never get on the wrong side of Lizzo!
