This past weekend, she showed off her slimmer figure in a form-fitting red dress for the 11th annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony that her fans loved on social media. On Saturday, April 5th, major celebrities walked the red carpet for the 11th annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Los Angeles. The event is a gala that honors and celebrates major scientific achievements and the remarkable scientists who made them.
Although the event is dedicated to scientists, major public figures of all kinds attended the ceremony, including the "Cuz I Love You" singer-songwriter.
Lizzo chose to wear a beautiful, burgundy red gown designed by Robert Wun for his Fall 2024 collection. The gown was long and elegantly draped across her body while hugging and showing off her slimmer waist.
She paired the eye-catching gown with long red gloves with extra flowing fabric and shiny red nails poking out of each finger. In addition to the gown, the vocalist also had her hair and bangs carefully styled uniquely to make them look wet, and wore bright red eyeshadow that matched the blush on her cheeks.
She flashed several smiles and smizes with a subtle red lip, and after sharing high-quality images of her look on Instagram, wowed her fans.

The day after the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony, the Michigan-native posted two images of her elaborate look on Instagram, and her fanbase quickly praised her in the comments section.

Many comments told the singer she looked "beautiful," and more acknowledged her weight loss journey, writing that they knew she used "dedication and unwavering determination" to look how she does today.

Although she's known for singing about loving yourself no matter how you look or your size, Lizzo has been very transparent with her fanbase about focusing more on her physical health while dealing with the pressure of being in the spotlight.
In years past, she's shared videos of what she eats daily, her experience trying a vegan diet, and how she likes to work out without pushing her body too hard. Then, in January, the Grammy award winner revealed to her Instagram followers that she had reached a recent weight loss goal and lost 16% of her body fat. Other reports mentioned that she's allegedly lost 60 lbs.
Lizzo is set to have an eventful year, as she hasn't only been making headlines with her latest transformation, but she's also come out of her two-year hiatus from making music with her newest single, "Still Bad" from her upcoming album, "Love In Real Life," which is said to be released later this year.
