Lori Loughlin’s home was burglarized on Monday, January 3rd, as masked robbers reportedly broke in and entered the disgraced star‘s property through a bedroom window and stole over $1 million in jewelry.
Reports claim that neither the 57-year-old Full House alum, her 58-year-old husband, Mossimo Giannulli, nor their daughters Isabella Rose, 23, and Olivia Jade, 22, were at their Los Angeles home when the burglary happened. According to TMZ, signs of the break-in were reportedly first discovered by a housekeeper several hours after the incident.
"The family weren’t at home when the intruders broke in, but Lori still feels violated by what happened," a source told US Weekly. "It was a very emotional day for her," they added. It's already a tough start to the year for the 90210 alum, as she – like the rest of Hollywood – is mourning the unexpected death of her Full House co-star, Bob Saget. The late 65-year-old actor and comedian was found dead in his Florida hotel room on Sunday, January 9th, following a stand-up performance the night before.
Insiders told TMZ that Saget’s unexpected passing actually "helped put the burglary in perspective for the actress, as material stuff isn’t the most important thing in life." Loughlin was one of many famous faces to comment on Saget's death. In a statement on Monday, January 10th, the Fuller House star said: "Words cannot begin to express how devastated I am. Bob was more than my friend; he was my family. I will miss his kind heart and quick wit. Thank you for a lifetime of wonderful memories and laughter. I love you, Bobby."
