High Temperatures 'Spoil' The Mac & Cheese

The recall was issued by Reser's Fine Foods over concerns that the mac & cheese had spoiled due to "temperature abuse." A spokesperson for Reser's Fine Foods spoke to FOX Business, and explained that the issue "was isolated to one truck load of product delivered to one distributor location."

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) classified the recall as Class II, which refers to "a situation in which use of, or exposure to, a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote."
