Madonna arrived in Paris for her next Celebration Tour performance, but fans think she was looking anything but chic. Surrounded by a team of bodyguards, the singer stepped out on Nov. 11th with her hood up and sunglasses on, but the rest of her outfit kept her from achieving that low-profile look.

Madonna’s Celebration Tour is traveling all around Europe as the pop star wows fans with a very lively (and sometimes very late) performance. Almost all of her shows are completely sold out, and concert-goers rave about the experience. If only Madonna’s street style looks were as great as her concert looks…

 Madonna's bizarre outfit

Madonna, 65, decided to go for a stroll in a rather eclectic outfit. The "Vogue" singer wore a rich purple crocheted sweater that fell to her mid-thighs and pulled the hood up over her head. Her silky trousers were also purple, though a lighter shade, and were tucked into nearly knee-high black socks. She paired the purple look with a black bomber jacket featuring a popped collar and matching lace-up biker boots.

She went for the hands-free phone look, wearing it on a black strap around her neck. Her blonde hair was styled in simple braids, and she wore large sunglasses to cover most of her face.

Fan reactions

Fans, who swarmed her as she exited her hotel, were less than impressed with her look. Fans began to comment on paparazzi photos of the mother-of-four, saying "she looks evil," and "she looks like she should be guarding a cornfield."

Another fan commented, "She looks like an old lady trying to dress like a teenager."

"This outfit completely ages her," added another user. "Stylist must've taken the day off."

"Terrible dress sense, " a fifth user wrote. "Grow old with some class and dignity. Jeez!"

But, a few fans stepped in to defend the "Material Girl" singer. "I am all for self expression at any age–wear what you want, do what you want," commented a fan.

"Y'all can keep hating," another fan wrote. "She's an icon and always will be."
