Experimenting with crazy makeup concoctions seems like a great idea in your 20's, but maybe not so when you've reached the age of maturity: 30. Being in your 30s doesn't mean you should be boring with your makeup look, but you should definitely say goodbye to a few beauty looks that can actually make you look older! Try letting go of these major makeup mistakes that you definitely shouldn't be making when you're 30+.

Putting on too much mascara is a major no for anyone at any age! More than 2 coats of mascara can make your eyelashes look clumpy and sloppy, and can cause flaking during the day.
Time to kiss those bright lip colors goodbye! Bright lipstick works when going to a house party when you're 21, but not at the office when you've reached your thirties. Bright lip colors can make your look seem too overdone and too overwhelming on your face.
Putting on a heavy amount of eyeliner is never a good idea. Heavy liner could accentuate your under eye circles and wrinkles. Keep your bottom liner light, and you top line thin for a more natural look.
Too much contour can cause a major case of cake-face, especially if you're choosing the wrong shades of makeup! Try to apply as minimal amount of foundation and contour products as possible to keep your makeup looking as natural and flawless as possible.
