Malia Obama‘s future is looking very promising, which should come as a surprise to no one. The 22-year-old is expected to graduate from Harvard this spring (if she has not already graduated early), and she reportedly already has her first job lined up.

The outlet explains that the former first daughter has signed on as a writer for Donald Glover‘s new Amazon project Hive. The outlet explains that the new series is “rumored to revolve around a Beyoncé-like figure and stem from writer Janine Nabers (Watchmen, Away).”

This is not Malia’s first gig in the entertainment industry. Back in 2015, she scored an internship with HBO’s Girls, and we’re sure that her previous work experience coupled with her stellar education will make her an asset to Glover’s writing team.

According to former President Barack Obama, his eldest daughter is destined to go places. In November, he told InStyle, “Malia, she is just buoyant. She’s somebody who enjoys people, enjoys life, and enjoys conversation. She’s never bored, which is a badass quality that can take you places.”
