You may have become accustomed to seeing Mandy Moore with dark curly locks for her role on the popular television series This Is Us, but the 37-year-old actress recently reverted back to her 90’s style, rocking freshly dyed blonde hair in a new Garnier Fructis ad. Moore is a spokesperson for the brand and has attributed her honey blonde hue to the brand, looking summer ready and stylish as ever as she showed off her stunning new locks on social media.
Stepping away from her darker hair, Moore turned to stylist Nikki Lee to make the transition from her auburn strands back to the bright, summery hue she was once known for in the early days of her career. Garnier divulged that Moore’s new hair can be accredited to the shade Garnier Nutrisse [70] Almond Crème, and since her locks were so dark before, her longtime stylist Lee started the process with highlights in order for the color to take more smoothly.
Moore took to Instagram to share an ethereal photoshoot showing off her stunning hair transformation, writing, “Surprise! Summer is right around the corner, and I decided to switch up my look. What do you think?!” Moore even shared coloring tips to her Instagram story so it’s now easier than ever to copy her perfectly sun kissed locks.
In another moodier photoshoot, Moore styled her blonde locks with a black midi-dress, posing in front of a wall of cacti and captioning the image, “Back to blonde for summer.” Her celeb friends were quick to flood the comment section with praise for the new look. Ashley Tisdale wrote, “Yes girl,” while singer Maren Morris added, “You can do anything.” We’re certainly taking her style tips for the summer!
