The 77th British Academy Film Awards are due to take place at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday, February 18th, and many A-listers are expected to be in attendance.
Margot Robbie, who is nominated for a ‘Best Actress in a Leading Role’ BAFTA for her role in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, is one of the A-listers we’re looking forward to seeing the most, as the 33-year-old actress has never disappointed us on a BAFTAs red carpet! Let’s take a look at five of our favorite Margot Robbie at the BAFTAs looks over the years to whet our appetites before the main event…
2020
Margot went for a classic and playful look for the 2020 BAFTAs, where she was nominated for two awards in the 'Best Actress in a Supporting Role' category: once for Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood and once for Bombshell.
She wore a black lace Chanel dress for the occasion, which featured a high neck, a tiered skirt, capelet sleeves, and an exposed lower back. Her hair was worn in a chic updo so as not to distract from the open back, with part of the front left hanging by the front of her face to give it a more edgy and undone feel. She accessorized with dazzling diamond earrings, which also got their time in the spotlight thanks to Margot's updo.
2019
Margot was nominated in the 'Best Actress in a Supporting Role' category for her role in Mary Queen of Scots – and she definitely came to the 2019 BAFTAs to make a statement! The blonde beauty wowed in a dazzling and dramatic black and blue tulle Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2019 masterpiece, which Vogue previously reported took 690 hours to create. Wow! She complemented the blue color of the dress by rocking blue eyeliner, and added Chanel Comète earrings and two rings to finish the look off.
2022
Margot walked the BAFTA: A Life In Pictures with Margot Robbie red carpet in a chic tweed suit from the Chanel Spring 2023 collection, which is a refreshing change from the usual red carpet dresses. She wore her hair in an elegant half up and half down do, accessorized with a black Chanel bag, silver Jimmy Choo heels, and Jennifer Fisher hoop earrings.
2018 Nominee Party
The Chanel ambassador stunned in a long-sleeved white tweed Chanel Spring 2018 Couture dress, which had frothy fringe detailing on the neck, sleeves, and hem. Like all of us, Margot was visibly thrilled that the dress had pockets, and was seen posing with her hands in the pockets throughout the night.
2018
Margot was nominated for 'Best Actress in a Leading Role' BAFTA for her role in I, Tonya – and she pulled out all the stops for the awards ceremony! Margot stunned in a seductive and glamorous Givenchy Spring 2018 Couture gown, which featured a high neck and a voluminous embellished skirt. She accessorized with a Roger Vivier Boîte de Nuit satin clutch and Givenchy 'Shark-Lock' heels, as well as jewelry from Harry Winston.
