There’s no question that Margot Robbie has an impressive career. She has already had two movies come out so far this year, which is nothing compared to 2018 and 2019, when she starred in a total of five movies each year.
Yet the actress fears her career is all downhill from here. Speaking to Fox News, the 31-year-old actress revealed that she thinks she has “peaked.”
“Maybe I’m at the top and it can’t get any better,” she said. “I hope that’s not the case because I still feel like I have a lot to give and there’s still a lot of directors I want to work with. And, you know, I’m just going to keep climbing as long as I can.”
Robbie’s most recent movie, The Suicide Squad, just released in movie theaters and HBO Max. And it’s already experienced great success, with global box office sales surpassing $100 million.
And blockbuster hits are not foreign to Robbie. Her 2019 movies Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Bombshell earned $374.6 million,and $61.4 million, respectively.
Robbie also revealed in an interview with T Magazine: The New York Times Style Magazine that she feels homesick, and hasn’t been home to to Australia in two years. She splits her time between the US and the UK, and explained that various factors including the pandemic and work have kept her from visiting home.
"I miss home so much," the 31-year-old shared.
