Mariah Carey was a sparkling sensation at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday night – and we mean literally! The singer flaunted her unreal figure and endless legs as she sashayed onstage to hand Miley Cyrus her very first Grammy Award.
Even though she skipped the red carpet and was kicking off the awards night by presenting the very first trophy, Carey made up for it in full sparkle mode. She rocked a dazzling Laura Basci gold gown, complete with a daring thigh-high slit and a neckline that plunged deep into the glam zone.

Her hair was blown out to perfection, elevating her loose curls to an incredibly thick and voluminous level. Adorning herself with Versace pumps, a colossal butterfly silver ring, a stack of layered bracelets, and rocking a sultry combination of a smokey eye and bronzed makeup, she absolutely slayed the glam game.
Fans were in love with her look as they dropped several comments praising the 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' hitmaker.
"We could’ve ended the show when you walked off! YOU ARE THE MOMENT DAHLINGGGGG," said one fan.
"Imagine your presence alone got you a standing ovation. You truly are the queen. Queen of queens," wrote another fan.
One user commented, "It was so satisfying seeing MARIAH & MILEY together."
Mariah Carey Throws Shade At The Grammys Before The Event
On February 1st, the 'Emotions' icon was honored with the Global Impact Award by the Recording Academy at the 2024 Black Music Collective. The mom of two added a playful touch to her speech by throwing some shade at the Grammys.
“Is this a real Grammy? I haven’t seen one in soooooo long. It’s weird. I don’t know. We’ll figure out what this is later," she said.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, nearly two decades have passed since Mariah Carey last took home a Grammy.
During her speech, the singer took a more earnest tone, revealing that she had to battle to sing and compose the music that resonated most with her.
“When I first started in the music business, I was often told to conform to certain expectations. I was not encouraged to focus on my love for Black music. It took countless arguments, endless tantrums — I’ll call them tantrums — and mostly unwavering determination but, eventually, I was able to reveal my authentic self, as they say, and create music that came from my heart. In doing so, I discovered a newfound sense of freedom and fulfillment,” she revealed.
