Mariah Carey Reveals What She Loves To Receive As Christmas Gifts
Due to the fact that she is the “Christmas Queen,” many people are under the impression that it must be difficult to find the perfect gift for her. However, the “Emotions” icon shut that assumption down by saying that she’s actually an easy person to shop for; she just wants the present to be “thoughtful.”
“‘I think I am an easy person to buy for because it’s really the thought that counts. I mean, I know that sounds cliché, but it’s true. If somebody takes time out of their day and goes and gets you something, that’s a big deal,” she added.
She also shed light on the memorable moments she had while recording her Christmas hit, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
“I remember being in the studio, and I had the studio all decked out in Christmas splendor. And I was there with the background singers doing all those [sings]… background parts. You know, I just remember that so vividly. I could never have known how far it would go. But it was an amazing moment, one of the best moments in the studio I have ever had,” she explained.
