Martha Stewart just shared her first update on her recovery after undergoing a three-hour surgery on her leg last month. The 80-year-old entrepreneur is not quite “back on her feet” yet, though she is up and about!

In a recent Instagram post, Stewart shows her first day back in her New York City office. She was assisted by a KneeRover all-terrain knee walker, which she said, “has saved my life!”

“It can maneuver in and around my antique furnishings and tight spaces,” she said of her device.

In June, Stewart has a two-tendon transplant on her Achilles tendon. The surgery took three hours!

Stewart's tendon had previously been ruptured, and she shared that she had been trying to get it to heal on its own before seeking medial intervention from NYU. She ruptured the tendon when accidentally stepping into a hole when getting out of a car at nighttime.

She told fans of her recovery process at the time, "Recuperating at home I have been ordered to lay still with leg elevated for two weeks. After that another two to four weeks of crutches. Then maybe some more normal activity."

Stewart has been documenting her recovery process on Instagram. Last month she shared insights on a therapeutic healing mat that had been helpful to her.

"It is a full size heating mat with fine restorative qualities. Perfect for tired, wounded , recovering or ill patients. The mat heats to 158 degrees," Stewart described to her followers.

Her most recent update is the first time Stewart has shown her mobility progress.
