There’s a new chicken sandwich at McDonald’s, and this one has a kick to it. The fast food giant is expanding its chicken offerings with brand new options: the Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy and Bacon Cajun Ranch Deluxe McCrispy.
Some customers may be disappointed that there’s still no sign of a chicken wrap on the menu, but hopefully fans of all things spicy will at least be excited about these new items. Find all of the details below.
McDonald's Adds Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy To Menus
If you love chicken, bacon, and spice, you're definitely going to want to get your hands on the new sandwiches at McDonald's.
The Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy is complete with that southern-style fried chicken fillet we know and love, applewood-smoked bacon, tasty crinkle-cut pickles, and a mouthwatering creamy Cajun ranch sauce. It's all sandwiched between a toasted potato roll. Although prices vary, this sandwich will likely cost around $6.
And if you're looking to upgrade, you can also indulge in the Bacon Cajun Ranch Deluxe McCrispy, which adds shredded lettuce, and Roma tomatoes. This will cost you about a dollar extra.
Sound delicious? We think so too. You'll want to act fast though, because these items will only be available for a limited time.
The new sandwiches come on the tail of an announcement made earlier this year that McDonald's is planning to expand on their sandwich chicken offerings in 2024.
And although we're still yearning for the rumored return of those beloved snack wraps, there's still hope that something similar is on the way, as the restaurant reportedly plans to "expand McCrispy into wraps and tenders as well."
We'll keep our fingers crossed! After all, if bagels came back, anything is possible.
