McDonald’s Must Be Furious About Burger King’s New Sandwich—This Is So Shady!

You might have heard the 1975 signature jingle for McDonald's "Big Mac"(which first debuted in the U.S. 1967). It literally lists its ingredients in its lyrics— "two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun."

While Burger King's "Big King" doesn't have a catchy tune to go along with it, it utterly consists of "two flame-grilled beef patties, King Sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, and a sesame seed bun." (Hmmm....)

As Daniel Kline for The Street writes, it seems like "Burger King is not being shy here." Kline continues, writing, "the 'Big King' is either a blatant copy or a bold challenge to its well-established rival [McDonald's 'Big Mac'], depending upon your perspective.

While both burgers are dubbed "tasty" and "timeless" by their respective fans, the "Big King" does have an interesting "Big-Mac"-inspired history that probably wouldn't please McDonald's.
