1. Egg McMuffin
When mornings are hectic, and a speedy on-the-go meal is a must, there’s no need to feel guilty about picking up an Egg McMuffin from McDonald’s. According to Patrick, this breakfast choice comes in at 310 calories with a protein content of 17 grams. It’s a commendable option for a quick and nourishing bite during those rushed mornings!
2. Chicken Nuggets
Fortunately, the beloved chicken nuggets made it to Patrick’s list as he says, “[the] 4-piece chicken nugget” has 170 calories with 10 grams of protein; a little behind from the Egg Mcmuffin when it comes to protein content, but still a delicious choice for chicken nugget fans.

3. McChicken With No Mayo
The McChicken also secured its spot on Patrick’s list, registering at just 300 calories. Sacrificing the mayo is what keeps this option at 300 according to the website’s nutrition calculator, but this option still packs a punch with 14 grams of protein.
4. Hamburger
Surprisingly, opting for a McDonald’s hamburger is a wise decision when aiming for a low-calorie option with a high protein content. While it’s shocking that a hamburger from this fast food restaurant has even made it to the list, Patrick says, “Just a regular hamburger with no cheese” contains 250 calories with 12 grams of protein. While it might be a bit disappointing to skip the cheese, it significantly aids in maintaining a lower calorie intake while still enjoying fast food.
