Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green‘s separation seemed pretty amicable at first, but there definitely seems to be some growing tension between the two of them.
Over Halloween, this contentious relationship came to a head and resulted in Fox criticizing her ex over Instagram, and she did not pull any punches, accusing him of painter her as an “absent mother.”

When Brian Austin Green posted a photo of him and their 4-year-old Journey celebrating Halloween together, Fox was upset by the photo.
She commented on the post: "Why does Journey have to be in this picture? It's not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren't in."
The actress added, "I had a great halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media. I know you love your kids. But I don't know why you can't stop using them to posture [sic] via Instagram."
That's not all. Fox continued, "you're so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I'm an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year. You have them half of the time. Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human! Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?"
Green later deleted the post before reposting a cropped version of the photo, cutting out Journey.
He also later thanked fans for their support in the midst of this difficult time for him and Fox as they navigate their new relationship and try to co-parent successfully.
In an IGTV video, Green said, "I wanted to thank everyone who’s come on my page and been supportive of everything. It’s extremely kind and really appreciated."
