Now that Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan Markle, 42, are spending some time apart (he is currently touring Asia, while she is at their home in Montecito, California with their two children, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2) sources have been speculating what could happen if the couple do decide to go their separate ways more permanently.
Rumors about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex heading for divorce have been circulating for a while now, although they have always been squashed just as quickly as they started. However, an insider reportedly told RadarOnline last month that the Sussexes really are “taking time apart” right now, and it’s because they want to try to heal their relationship.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Separation Rumors
"They're trying to figure out what hit them," the insider reportedly spilled. "Harry doesn't fit in Meghan's tacky Tinseltown world," they added, saying he needs to "find himself." Could that be the real reason why Prince Harry flew to Japan and Singapore alone?
Prince Harry's Asia tour isn’t the only time he will have apart from his wife, as he will reportedly also be headed to South Africa by himself to work on a documentary about his mother, the late Princess Diana.
Royal Author Thinks Meghan Markle Will Blame Potential Divorce On Prince Harry
What could happen if the Sussexes do end up going their separate ways for good? Royal biographer Angela Levin, who told GB News that she is "not in the least bit surprised" that the Sussexes are plagued by divorce rumors all the time, speculates that the mom-of-two would waste no time in playing the victim and blaming the whole failure of their marriage on Prince Harry. Yikes!
"I think Meghan is a tremendously good plotter and I think she is going along two parallel lines at the moment," Levin speculated, before going on to say that their current time apart could actually be working as a trial separation. "On the other hand, the main thing I think is this pre-separation separation. Harry will be going to Africa to try and do a documentary of walking in his mother's footsteps that he hopes Netflix will accept and then they can get their £40M," she continued, in reference to Prince Harry's upcoming Africa trip.
"This is a huge thing for him to do," Levin continued, adding that it's quite telling how Prince Harry is doing the trip alone and without the support of his wife. "Certainly, if he does anything to do with his mother, he needs somebody there to help him," she continued, adding that Prince Harry "still cries, still thinks about her every day, he still thinks that she is talking to him and telling him what to do. And to be there on his own knowing he has this incredible demand, I think it’s very significant."
Levin went on to speculate that the separation is "an all-pretend thing" which will end in them making "it all work again," although she said that Prince Harry being away from his children for a long time is "very, very strange." She also predicted that "Meghan will be blaming Harry for absolutely everything," should they actually end up divorcing.
