Royal Expert Weighs In On Why Meghan Markle's Projects Are Failing
Royal expert Tina Brown opened up about the apparent failure of the mom-of-two's American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand on her new Substack, Fresh Hell, and said that she thinks the main reason for its failure comes down to her not listening.
"She's a perfectionist about getting it all wrong. Her issue is that she doesn't listen," Brown wrote. "She has all these people, asks them their opinion, and then doesn't follow it."
"She does what she wants to do," she continued, adding: "And all of her ideas are total [expletive.] unfortunately."
Royal Expert Says Prince Harry Is 'Naïve' And 'Unschooled In The Ways Of The World'
Brown also went on to say that the Spare author, perhaps through no fault of his own, isn't well equipped to help his wife, because she believes he is "so naïve and really unschooled in the ways of the world."
"Being Prince Harry means that I doubt if he ever booked a table in a restaurant," she speculated, adding: "The army was great for him, and he was extremely good and competent in there. That really helped turn him into a real person."
Prince Harry Reportedly 'Blindly Followed' Meghan Markle's Lead As 'He Thought She Knew All'
Brown also addressed the epic failure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Spotify deal, which saw the streaming platform part ways with Archewell Audio in 2023, and said that Prince Harry seemed to "blindly follow" the former Suits actress as he believed that she knew everything.
"He's the lamb to the slaughter in this situation," Brown continued. "He was terribly impressed by Meghan. He thought that she knew all, she persuaded him that she was the savvy Hollywood wheeler-dealer who could come in and make them stars and all the rest of it. And he just sort of blindly followed her like a child, really."
However, as we now know due to their many professional failures, Meghan did not know everything! "Unfortunately, she made every mistake in the book, and she's kind of run out of road," Brown continued, before saying what she thinks could happen to Prince Harry in the future. "I don't know where Meghan goes. Harry could still, as I say, make a comeback. He'll always be Prince Harry. He'll always be the grandson of the Queen and the son of Diana."
This seems to echo what we are currently seeing for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as they seem to be going their separate ways professionally and taking on more solo projects in a bid to win back the public.
