Meghan Markle Believes Her New Show Will Be A Huge Success
The former Suits actress's new show has been produced as part of her and Prince Harry's $100M Netflix deal, which also saw the release of Prince Harry's extremely unsuccessful Polo documentary at the end of last year.
However, she reportedly believes that her cooking show, which features celebrity guests such as actress Mindy Kaling and fashion designer Tracy Robbins, will not suffer the same fate as her husband's polo documentary, which was branded "cringey" and "tacky," among other things.
"Meghan has a huge desire to succeed and, in this world, having wealth at the level of a billionaire is taken as the ultimate sign of achievement," an insider reportedly said, according to Heat magazine, before hinting that the show's potential success would really show certain members of the royal family that she and Prince Harry were right to step down as working royals.
"Make no mistake, this is also a way to show all the haters wrong, especially Harry's family," the insider continued, adding: "This would be the ultimate one-up and with the potential of this Netflix marketing partnership, Meghan genuinely feels billionaire status is within reach."
The insider also went on to say that having extra money will not only benefit Prince Harry and Meghan's family, which also includes their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, but it would reportedly also help many other people too, which is their ultimate goal!
"They have huge expenses, especially when it comes to the around-the-clock security that they rely on. The bills add up and it's not something they can scrimp on as they want this protection for them and their kids," the insider continued, in reference to Prince Harry's ongoing battle for security for his family.
They added: "Having that kind of money will mean she and Harry have a chance to help the world in such an impactful way and never have to worry about money again."
