Meghan Markle Wears Giorgio Armani Suit To Deliver Cyberbullying Speech
The As Ever founder, 44, delivered a powerful speech on the dangers of online bullying at the unveiling of the Lost Screen Memorial art installation in Geneva, Switzerland on Sunday, May 17th. Check it out here.
The installation was hosted by the World Health Organization and Prince Harry and Meghan's Archewell Philanthropies organization, in partnership with The Parents' Network. It featured 50 illuminated lightboxes, each displaying the mobile phone lock screen of a child whose life was lost due to online harm, including cyberbullying, grooming, sextortion, and exposure to self-harm content.
"Behind me stands The Lost Screen Memorial. Not statistics. Not avatars. Not data points. Children," the mom-of-two said in her speech. "Each name belonged to a child who was loved beyond measure. A child whose laughter once filled a kitchen. Whose shoes once waited by a front door. Whose future once felt limitless," she continued.
She also urged parents to lead by example by limiting their own social media usage, and contacting elected officials to advocate for stronger protections for young people online. "Let our children look back at this moment, and let them feel proud of us – that we chose something better – for them, and for us all," she added.
The With Love, Meghan star looked chic and polished in an all-black pantsuit featuring a Giorgio Armani blazer, wide-leg trousers, and Manolo Blahnik heels. She accessorized with Ariel Gordon 'Royal Signet' earrings and a Logan Hollowell Lovers Duet diamond and emerald chain necklace, while her hair was styled in an elegant low bun.
While many viewed the understated ensemble as appropriate for the occasion, some online critics took issue with the fact that her outfit later appeared on OneOff – an AI-powered fashion platform where Meghan is both an investor and listed creator. According to reports, creators on the platform can earn commission, typically ranging from 10% to 25%, through affiliate-linked sales.

Reacting to Meghan's outfit appearing on OneOff, one X user wrote: "This is what Meghan Markle wore when she exploited the parents who lost children to cyberbullying. Markle gets a commission off of each piece she sells. This is called exploitation, merching off parents who lost kids to cyber bullying. Repulsive."
"Meghan Markle can't stop being a grief grifter," slammed a second critic, while a third added: "Meghan Markle continues to exploit another tragedy for her own personal monetary gain. That is not Queen behavior – that's grifter behavior."
