Meghan Markle Elevates A Simple Black Dress With Hermès Accessories
When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted arriving in Atlanta on a private plane on Monday, October 16th, all eyes were on the Duchess of Sussex's outfit, which consisted of a black long-sleeved Bleusalt maxi dress, elevated with some stunning Hermès accessories. Check out some pics here.
The former Suits actress jazzed up her simple yet timeless black dress with some gold Hermès Oran sandals, which we assume she wore during her Caribbean vacation, and the iconic Hermès 'Brides de Gala Applique Pique Shawl 140.' The cashmere and silk shawl is available in a combination of different colors, including orange, beige, and green, as well as the chic blue version worn by the Duchess.
One accessory which didn’t hail from the luxury French fashion house was a Caribbean 'Cream of the Islands' Flour & Feed Sack shopping bag, which she likely picked up on her travels. According to reports, the sustainable bag was made by the mother/daughter team of Alethea and Bernice John of A&B Boutique, and was made from upcycled Cream of the Islands-brand flour sacks. Naturally, the version that Meghan was papped with sold out quite quickly.
Markle could also be seen carrying a large straw hat – again, we assume she put it to good use on her vacation – and she was also wearing some black sunglasses, which are believed to be her Celine Triomphe square sunglasses. Her raven hair was worn in a sleek and effortless bun, which is one of her signature hairstyles.
