Could the royal feud be over by the end of the year? If we are to believe some royal insiders, Prince Harry, 38, *could* be interested in healing the years-long rift between him and his older brother, Prince William, 41, – but it’s apparently the *last* thing wife Meghan Markle, 41, wants!
Meghan Markle Is Reportedly Against Returning To The UK And Reconciling With The Prince And Princess Of Wales
According to GB News, royal author Tom Bower said that the brothers have actually made contact recently (which is a huge step!) as Prince Harry has spoken to Prince William about a possible return to the U.K. However, nothing is set in stone, and if we are to believe Bower, the former Suits actress doesn’t want it to happen!
"I don’t think he can come back," the Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors author hinted. "He’s caused so much damage to the family and the concern now is that if he does return, he could well damage it even further." He went on to say: "I think Meghan would’ve been horrified by Harry’s suggestion."
"She’s not close to William and Kate," Bower continued, in reference to the mom-of-two. "I would imagine the last thing she’d want to do is return to England to live in a small, poky flat in Kensington Palace."
But Bower thinks that Prince Harry may be more willing to move back to the U.K. now that things aren’t working out too well for them in the U.S., following the termination of their Spotify partnership and all the reports that claim that they are trying desperately to make influential friends but failing. "Harry and Meghan are experiencing a crisis of identity, a crisis of purpose and a crisis of finance," he added. "I think they’ve exhausted their possibilities and have hit a brick wall."
Kate Middleton Reportedly 'Blames Meghan' For Prince William And Prince Harry's Rift
If the Sussexes *do* move back to the U.K. there are no guarantees that the sisters-in-law will see eye to eye all of a sudden. Another royal insider reportedly told Heat that Meghan isn’t happy with her sister-in-law, as she is reportedly "getting involved" in her and Prince Harry's affairs. Kate Middleton, 41, has reportedly made no secret of the fact that she "feels terrible" that Prince Harry has such little contact with his brother and the rest of the royal family, and "blames Meghan" for the royal feud.
"Kate feels terrible that the royals and Harry are at this current impasse with so little contact between them," the insider told Heat. "She blames Meghan for it almost entirely and the longer it goes on the more it upsets and frustrates her," they continued.
"Kate's let it be known to the palace aides who still speak to the Sussexes that she thinks it's an extremely poor show the way Harry's being treated," the insider said. "But Meghan is furious and thinks Kate has no right getting involved in her marriage. She would never dream of interfering between her and William."
"Just because she's burnt all her bridges with the palace why does she have to bring Harry down with her?" the insider asked, in reference to Meghan. "The whole thing stinks and Kate is turning up the heat, hoping it spurs Harry into sticking up for himself and snapping back to normal at long last."
