Meghan Markle‘s half-sister, Samantha Markle, is set to release a tell-all memoir about the once-royal on January 17.
The book, titled The Diary Of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1, is described as: “Amidst a firestorm of fake news and media mayhem, Samantha Markle shares the truth about her life and family against all odds and ultimatums, as a royal fairy tale plummets from the tea towels. Sometimes the truth really is stranger than fiction.”

Although the details of Samantha's memoir are still under wraps, there's sure to be some sharp words in there for Meghan.
Samantha has been very open about her less-than-familial feelings toward her half-sister, and this book promises to be more of the same.
According to the Daily Mail, "[Samantha] has previously branded her a 'shallow social climber,' blamed Meghan for freezing out their father and other members of the family, called her 'inhumane' and 'the Duchess of Nonsense.'"
The British outlet also claims that Meghan started crying after finding out about her sister's book plans, reporting that the Duchess felt 'taken advantage of' by her family.
Though Meghan may not be looking forward to the memoir's release, her father, Thomas Markle, has said he is "very pleased" with the book.
He told Us Weekly, "I’m just very pleased that she’s accomplished this book. Let’s let her talk to you about the book."
And for those excited about the release there's even more to look forward to: the book's sequel.
Although plenty of people will probably line up to read what Samantha has to say about her estranged sister, fans of Markle have been vocal about their feelings on the release.
One rated the book on the Barnes & Noble website with one star, writing, "What a pathetic and desperate way of trying to make yourself relevant by using your half-sister, whom you haven’t seen for many years! The lies and misinformation you’ve spinned is pathetic! SHAME ON YOU!! Oh PS! I only put 1 star because there isn’t 0!"
Though angry, the commenter does bring up an important point: Meghan and Samantha barely have any relationship, making any "tell-all" a difficult task. In fact, according to Meghan and Harry's biography, Finding Freedom, the two women have not crossed paths in over a decade--and they've hardly spent any time together at all since they were children.
Considering Samantha has written not one but two books about her half-sister, she must have plenty to say. However, their lack of relationship does seem to be a significant problem for her credibility as a tell-all author.
