Meghan Markle Shows Her Affection For Prince Harry

The Invictus Games saw over a week's worth of public appearances from Prince Harry, who founded the Games in 2014, and Meghan Markle. At the opening ceremony, Meghan could be seen nuzzling into her husband's shoulder. Later that evening, they attended a hockey game, and Meghan resumed the same pose.

Later that week, when they were in Whistler to greet a crowd of fans, Meghan clung to Harry's arm as they took the stage and thanked all the attendees. It would be hard for anyone, even critics, to deny that Meghan looks like the picture perfect adoring wife.

Meghan Markle Softens Her Look

While all of these displays of affection were in part just because the husband and wife care for one another, it's also possible that a lot of this was intentional on Meghan's part. According to body language expert Judi James, Meghan was doing her best to make Harry look like a "hero," with his loving wife snuggled up next to him.

At the hockey game, Meghan's subtle lowering of her head onto Harry's bicep and resting there was a move to "lower her status" and draw focus to Prince Harry. "By lowering her head and attaching it to him along with her hand clasp," James explains, "she lowers her own status and presents him as her heroic protector."
