Meghan Markle wowed fans and onlookers with her cozy and chic black-and-white look at the 2025 Invictus Games’ Whistler Welcome Celebration held earlier this week. The Duchess of Sussex and style icon, 43, wore a long, white puffer coat from Mackage in Whistler, Canada, which accentuated her slim waist and showcased her sophisticated approach to cold-weather fashion.

While attending the event with her husband Prince Harry, the Suits alum also sported a fitted black sweater beneath her standout coat, along with matching skinny jeans. The mom of two (who shares son Prince Archie, 5, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 3, with Harry, 40) added classic Sorel boots for the snowy day.

To complete her get-up, the Archetypes podcast host added black gloves from Moncler and a coordinating Hat Attack beanie over her long, brunette tresses. As for the Duke of Sussex, he donned an all-navy, monochromatic outfit. Markle accompanied her husband at the Invictus Games' winter sports segment. Harry initiated this biannual competition in 2014 to support veterans.

The Invictus Games are designed for service members and veterans who have sustained wounds, injuries, or illnesses. Through sports, these games aim to motivate participants in their recovery and rehabilitation process. All participants, irrespective of the nature of their disabilities, are welcome to join. These games resemble the Paralympics but focus more on inclusion than on achieving top results or earning awards.

Athletes are grouped according to the extent to which their functional limitations affect their ability to compete. Markle and Harry enjoyed a touching moment at the start of the Invictus Games when she presented him. She highlighted how important the Invictus community is to her husband. "We are just thrilled to be here, and I would be remiss if I didn’t take the opportunity to introduce someone who means a lot to me," Markle said.

The retired actress (who returned to Instagram on New Year's Day with the IG handle @meghan) added: "And I know he means quite a lot to all of you. You will see him throughout this week. You will see him at the Games. You will see him probably curling with you, cheering you on. He’s in it with you, and you’ll see him through all of those moments. He’ll be there with you. I need you to know how much it means to him and how much each of you means to him."
