Meghan Markle‘s new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder with Meghan already got off to a bad start before the first episode even aired. And things aren’t any better after the first episode, which featured an interview with Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder of dating app Bumble.
Jeremy Kyle and Kinsey Schofield discussed the success – or lack thereof – of the former Suits actress‘s podcast with Lemonada Media on TalkTV, referencing how the first episode only received two out of five stars from TV critics.
The Telegraph‘s TV critic, Chris Bennion, said the episode was “an inane stream of mindless aphorisms” lacking in genuine confessions or secrets. Alongside her 2-star rating, The Guardian‘s Rachel Aroesti said it was a “sycophantic interview podcast” that is “stomach-turning.” Yikes!
Jeremy Kyle and Kinsey Schofield Slam Meghan Markle’s Podcast On TalkTV
The TalkTV hosts also discussed some of the reasons why they believed the first episode wasn’t a hit with listeners, and essentially blamed it on Meghan’s “narcissistic” and “entitled” behavior.
Schofield, host of the To Di For Daily podcast, laid into both Prince Harry and Meghan right off the bat, and slammed them for “disparaging” the royal family. She said: “Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace do not get enough credit for making these two nauseatingly boring, tedious, and entitled individuals appear to be worthy of our attention.”
“If the last five years have taught us anything,” Schofield continued, “it’s that these two are one-trick ponies disparaging the British royal family. Otherwise, they have absolutely nothing of value to share.”
Kyle then went on to discuss some of the things the As Ever founder shared with listeners, including suffering from postnatal preeclampsia after giving birth, saying: “I’m going to play the opening of her podcast. She admits that she was overwhelmed by her new career – and we’ve had medical issues, the morning fruit run, all of it complete [expletive.]”

"I just feel like Meghan spends the majority of her time blowing her own trumpet," Schofield chimed in, before going on to reference the anti-bullying campaign Prince Harry and Meghan launched.
"She invented pretzel bags — she invented pretzel bags," Schofield continued, in reference to some of the now-widely-mocked tips and tricks Meghan shared on her controversial With Love, Meghan Netflix show. "And Harry is out there complaining about his gilded life, trying to establish himself as a thought leader on online bullying while ignoring his fanbase's sinister digital behavior," she continued, and added: "So again, I applaud Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace for the miracle that was making these two... likable."
"She's nauseating," Kyle chimed in. "I will always have an issue with the fact that they only exist by slagging off the very thing they still crave to be part of but walked away from. To me, it's so narcissistic, it's beyond normal. Massively narcissistic."

"I think the reason we talk about her is because the fall from grace is wild to witness," Schofield thought.
Schofield then noted: "Remember, it was Beyoncé who allegedly texted Meghan Markle during the Netflix show, telling her that she was 'selected to break generational curses that need to be healed.'" She then quipped: "And Meghan Markle is talking to us about peanuts she's including in her jam package."
As expected, there have been many comments about the mom-of-two's podcast since it launched all over various social media platforms. And the above YouTube video had its fair share!

Internet Reactions
"Markle is overly dramatic. She's acting all this nonsense out like an 8th grade drama club dropout. It's nauseating," slammed one person in the YouTube comments. "Nauseating is the word!" exclaimed a second, adding: "Cannot stand the sound of her voice or her fakeness."
"Every time she speaks, she speaks about herself. She is all consumed by herself," noted a third, as a fourth concurred: "She refers to herself literally every 4 or 5 seconds 'I, me, mine, my, etc.' It's repugnant." "Does that woman have any interest in anyone or anything other than herself?" asked another in agreement.
"This rubbish received 2 out of 5? A whole 2, are you kidding me?" quipped another unimpressed person. "I don't think I've ever heard such boring tripe in all my life," criticized another, while someone else said: "She is so full of herself." Another disgruntled critic said: "Nauseatingly Boring! Are we surprised?"
