Meghan Markle Shines In Chic All-Black Silk Look For 'Bob Marley: One Love' Premiere
The Duchess of Sussex's ball skirt is by Carolina Herrera (a favorite brand of hers) and from the label's 'Icon' collection. To dazzle up her look even more, the mom of two added shiny gold disc earrings from Jennifer Meyer and a sleek black clutch.
Markle wore her brunette tresses in a classic slicked-back bun for her night out at the Carib Theatre. As for her makeup look, the Suits alum sported subtle black liner, voluminous lashes and radiant, rosy blush on her high cheekbones. She topped it all off with a glossy nude lip.
During the event, the Sussexes took the opportunity to greet Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness and even posed for pictures with the prominent government leader.
Despite their cordial interaction, the couple faced criticism from some loyal royalist supporters due to Holness's history of expressing anti-monarchy views.
The couple also engaged in conversation with Bob Marley's eldest son, Ziggy, and they later had the opportunity to take photographs with Marlene Malahoo Forte, the former Attorney General of Jamaica, as well as Brian Robbins, the President and CEO of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon.
As reported by People Magazine, Markle and Harry have long been admirers of reggae icon Marley's music and the positive impact it carries.
The biographical drama film Bob Marley: One Love will hit US theaters on February 14th and stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as the legendary musician and Lashana Lynch as his wife and fellow singer, Rita.
This fashionable red carpet appearance marked the Sussexes' return to Jamaica. In advance of their engagement, Markle and Harry embarked on a joint 2017 trip to attend the nuptials of friends.
