Meghan Markle Thinks Kate Middleton Should Have Supported Her More
Royal author Tom Quinn reportedly thinks that that's unlikely to happen any time soon, if at all, explaining that the former Suits actress thought Kate should have supported her more when she first joined the royal family because she was once in the same boat: i.e., an outsider.
"Meghan doesn't feel guilty about Kate, because she feels that Kate should've been the one person in the royal family to back her against every difficulty," the Scandals of the Royal Palaces: An Intimate Memoir of Royals Behaving Badly author told The Mirror, adding: "Apart from anything else, Meghan knew Kate was an outsider, so she just couldn't understand why Kate always towed the royal line rather than supporting her, Meghan, the other outsider."
Kate Middleton's Cancer Battle May Not Be Enough To Fully Repair Their 'Poisonous' Relationship
Although Prince Harry and Meghan did send a public message of support to the Princess of Wales following her brave cancer diagnosis revelation, Quinn doesn't think the health battle is enough to fully repair their relationship, as he deems it too "poisonous" to recover from.
"Kate's cancer diagnosis has been a real shock for Meghan, but she can see no way to patch up the relationship simply because it has become so poisonous," Quinn speculated, adding that Meghan "can see no way back."
"She also doesn't want people saying that she is trying to make things up with Kate just because Kate is ill," he added. "Meghan still feels Kate was in the wrong and should apologize before they try to build bridges."
