Meghan Markle has previously come under fire for allegedly not treating palace staff very well – but according to recent reports, she has also been accused of treating her own husband poorly too!
A royal biographer has reportedly claimed that the former Suits actress, 43, treats Prince Harry, 40, “horrendously,” which was apparently more than evident in footage obtained from their past Nigeria and Colombia trips. The biographer also claimed that Prince Harry is desperate to reconcile with his family, and is calling on some of his old friends for their assistance!
Royal Biographer Says Meghan Markle Stole The Spotlight During Colombia And Nigeria Trips, And Prince Harry Was 'Pushed Out Of The Way'
According to Harry: Conversations with the Prince author Angela Levin, as per The Sun, Prince Harry often feels like his thoughts don't matter in his marriage. This was reportedly made quite obvious when they were filming during their recent trips to Nigeria and Colombia.
"You could say Harry is not even the spare to his wife. He's almost nothing," Levin said, before going on to say that Meghan stole the spotlight (and not in a good way!) during their controversial trips to Nigeria and Colombia earlier this year.
"[Meghan]treats him horrendously," Levin continued, adding: "If you look at the filming of them in Colombia and Africa, he is not asked anything. He's pushed out of the way."
Prince Harry Is Reportedly 'Trying To Call In His Old Friends' To Help Him Reconcile With His Family
The Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall: From Outcast to Future Queen Consort author went on to say that the Spare author is desperate to reconcile with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William. Could Meghan's alleged poor treatment of her husband have something to do with it?
"I was completely and utterly astonished to learn that Harry is trying to call in his old friends to help him get back within his own family," Levin confessed, which seems to echo what a royal insider recently told The Sun.
A royal insider reportedly told the outlet earlier this month: "He wants to carve out a way back into royal life back in the U.K. and is seeking counsel from old friends and associates."
The source also added: "Harry is increasingly feeling isolated in California, which is why he's been reaching out to old friends in the U.K. The trip to Colombia also emphasized how easily Meghan takes center stage, while Harry seems withdrawn and visibly unhappy in the background."
