Meghan Markle’s Heartbreaking Announcement–We Didn’t See This Coming AT ALL!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are suing mad over a photographer taking pictures of their young son Archie–and allegedly in the privacy of their own home!

Yes, it’s shocking. We’re not surprised that the high profile pair are getting litigious over such an egregious violation of their privacy. Here’s what we know so far about their newest legal battle so far:

The lawsuit was announced via the couple on Thursday. In it, Meghan and Harry are alleging that photos of Archie were, "most likely taken with a drone or telephoto lens while they were in their backyard in the Los Angeles area, which violates California’s so-called paparazzi law," the NYTimes reports. Yikes!

The paper explains that the couple don't know who took the photos, and therefore the defendants In the case as listed as "John Doe." But they hope to subpoena people who might know who they are.

The photographer who took the shots was shopping them around to tabloid publications.

Their attorney, Michael Kump, claims that even though they are public figures through their charity work the couple does not deserve to have private photos of their young son shopped around. We agree!

“Every individual and family member in California is guaranteed by law the right to privacy in their home,” Mr. Kump said in a statement. “No drones, helicopters or telephoto lenses can take away that right.” Indeed!
