As the pair stepped onto the red carpet of the Mar-a-Lago entrance, they stood a minimum of one foot apart, and at one point, Donald seemingly accidentally stepped in front of his wife, leaving her to awkwardly step around him to regain her place at his side.
And despite looking their best—Melania in an asymmetrical black gown that showed off all her curves and Donald in a matching black tuxedo—they didn’t look to be in a particularly celebratory mood. Neither smiled as they made their entrance, and showed no sign of affection for one another.

Their awkwardness with one another was so palpable that it was obvious when caught on camera, and when Daily Mail posted a video of their entrance to TikTok, users wasted no time commenting on how uncomfortable they looked with one another. "The love, passion, & joy they display as a couple, the way he steps in front of her..." one person joked.
