She styled her hair in a sleek center part with her signature waves, complementing the look with her signature smoky eyes and a soft mauve lip.
Lauren A. Rothman, a style strategist and image coach, told Business Insider, "First Lady Melania's style tonight is quiet authority—polished, self-assured, and entirely in command of her presence."
During her first term as First Lady, the mother of one primarily wore midi dresses paired with sky-high heels. However, this time, she’s embracing a more business-focused approach by incorporating menswear into her wardrobe.

Melania Trump and Her Love for Menswear
For the White House Governors’ Dinner on Feb. 23 in Washington D.C., Melania wore a sleek black blazer with satin lapels from Dolce & Gabbana, paired with a crisp Ralph Lauren tuxedo shirt.
For her official portrait, she exuded confidence in a sharp power suit paired with a white shirt underneath, all designed by Dolce & Gabbana, as she posed inside the White House’s Yellow Oval Room.
Vanity Fair spoke with the photographer of the striking portrait to gain insight on the meaning behind the shot: “I feel that her kindness and involvement and her engagement are reflected in this picture,” Régine Mahaux revealed.
Mahaux further added, “[The skies were] gray, and Melania looks good in gray, and everything looks good in gray. The picture didn’t need to be retouched because we wanted to keep the authenticity.”
