Melania Trump's Former Aide Stephanie Winston Wolkoff Criticizes Her 'Mother's Day' Tweet
The former model and Slovenia native continued: "Motherhood exists as the bedrock of the American family, and mothers tend to wear several hats: emotional support, inspirational growth, health, love, humor, education, and more. We strive to provide our children with the building blocks to create meaningful relationships, plus the tools to eventually grow into mindful adults who thrive."
Melania added: "When moms are healthy, our communities are too. As mothers, we are inclined to honor our mothers and mother figures on Mother's Day, but we must also be mindful of ourselves. It may be difficult to imagine, but when moms prioritize self-care, our families and children enjoy greater stability."
She concluded her note: "Together, as mothers, we can institute a sense of unity, respect, and calm across the next generation."
Winston Wolkoff, 53, previously employed by Melania following the 2016 presidential election won by her husband Donald, has publicly expressed disapproval of the couple since resigning from her position. Winston Wolkoff took issue with Melania's recent tweet and implied that it was hypocritical of her to write.
The former aide then tweeted soon after: "Betrayal between mothers is especially deep when one chooses lies over truth, showing a disregard not just for honesty, but for the bond that did unite them."
She continued, writing to Melania: "Have you @MELANIATRUMP ever considered or cared how your actions & false accusations against ME impacted MY children?"
In the aftermath of a strained relationship with Melania, Winston Wolkoff has become a vocal critic of the Trump couple. Winston Wolkoff has been candid in expressing her opinions about the pair after her departure from her position.
Their friendship soured after reports emerged of Winston Wolkoff's significant financial gains as a contractor for the 2017 presidential inauguration.
Melania severed her association with Winston Wolkoff in February 2018 due to reports stating that WIS Media Partners, her event planning firm, had been paid a sum of $26 million for coordinating Donald's inauguration.
According to Winston Wolkoff's 2020 book, Melania and Me, the reason behind her resignation was due to being used as a scapegoat by the Trump administration. Winston Wolkoff has vehemently denied receiving $26 million, and instead, clarified that she was only paid a fee of $1.6 million.
