There are still a lot of questions regarding Melania Trump once Donald Trump takes office. And one of those questions is in relation to her residence.
Luckily, the former and incoming First Lady revealed whether or not she will be living with her husband in the White House once he takes office during an interview with Fox News’ Ainsley Earhardt on Monday, January 13th. Keep reading to find out what she said…
Will Melania Trump Be Living In The White House With Donald Trump?
The 54-year-old Slovenian American former model has been criticized for being "nowhere to be found" throughout her husband's campaign and his various court trials, so it's not surprising to hear that many people are unsure about where she will be living once he takes office.
However, we think she cleared things up in her Fox interview, as she revealed that she will be splitting her time between Washington D.C., New York City, and Palm Beach over the next four years due to various different projects and responsibilities.
"I will be in the White House," the mom-of-one confirmed in the interview. She added: "And when I need to be in New York, I will be in New York. When I need to be in Palm Beach, I will be in Palm Beach. My first priority is to be a mom, to be a first lady, to be a wife."
Where Will Barron Trump Live?
Melania also added that their 18-year-old son Barron Trump will have a permanent room in the White House for him to use as and when he wants to, despite currently living in New York.
Donald Trump's youngest son recently moved from the family's Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach to Trump Tower in New York, as he is attending New York University's Stern School of Business. However, his mom made it clear that he is always welcome to come and stay with them for as long as he wants to.
"Whatever he would like to do," Melania explained. "I feel as children, we have them 'til they are 18, 19 years old. We teach them, we guide them, and then we give them the wings to fly." She added: "I always respect Barron's yes and no, and what he likes to do, where he would like to be."
